Slim composes songs of great Canadians and the country he loves, such as "When It's Apple Blossom Time In Annapolis Valley", "Beautiful British Columbia", "Longing For Ontario", "Canada My Homeland", "Our Canada Song", "The Story of Laura Secord", "When It's Springtime In Saskatchewan", "The Great Pacific Railroad (1885)", "The Hanging of Louis Riel", "The Story of Captain Cook, Explorer", "Call of the Cariboo", and many others.

The thirty five songs contained in this souvenir song folio are favourites of Alberta Slim. Slim's songs are recorded on RCA records and tapes. His albums and tapes are collectors' items to those who appreciate folk and western music. Included in Slim's fourth song folio are the easy guitar chords used to accompany his songs.
